What's verified — and what isn't

RDA100's amino-acid numbers are formula targets: what the product is designed to contain. They become "lab verified" only when a named laboratory's report for a named batch is published here.

    The RDA100 formula

    Per 11.58 g serving, as active amino-acid (free-base) equivalents:

    BCAAs (5.2 g) = leucine + isoleucine + valine, and are included in the 10 g total. Leucine is included in the BCAAs. Lysine is supplied as lysine hydrochloride, so the raw ingredient weighs more than the 1.5 g of active lysine — one reason the serving is 11.58 g rather than 10 g. The founder confirmed the 11.58 g serving on 26 Sep 2026; it replaces an earlier 11.13 g target.

    Which comparison are we making?

    • Same EAA amount — how much powder, energy or money it takes to reach a fixed amount of essential amino acids (default 10 g). Our headline comparison.
    • As-sold serving — what one labelled scoop contains. Whey delivers more total protein per scoop than RDA100; we show that too.
    • Equal powder mass — what 100 g or 10 g of each powder contains.
    • Equal cost — at each brand's listed selling price on the date shown, without coupons or shipping.

    We never convert 10 g of EAAs into an "equivalent" 25–40 g of protein. No validated universal conversion exists.

    Formulas

    S = grams per serving E = grams of EAAs per serving
    L = grams of leucine per serving
    K = kcal per serving           M = pack net mass (g)
    P = listed pack price (₹)      T = EAA target (g, default 10)

    EAA density (%)             = 100 × E ÷ S
    Powder for T g of EAAs (g)  = S × T ÷ E
    Cost for T g of EAAs (₹)    = (P ÷ M) × (S × T ÷ E)
    Calories for T g of EAAs    = K × T ÷ E
    Leucine per 10 g of powder  = 10 × L ÷ S

    A missing input makes the result unavailable — shown as missing, never as zero. Values keep full precision and are rounded only for display. A ratio of 2.6× means "2.6 times as much", which is 160% more, not 260%.

    Worked example. MuscleBlaze Biozyme Performance Whey (Rich Chocolate) lists 11.75 g EAAs in a 36 g serving: 36 × 10 ÷ 11.75 = 30.6 g of powder for 10 g of EAAs. At ₹4,199 for 1,000 g that costs ₹128.7. RDA100: 11.58 g of powder; at ₹999 for 300 g, ₹38.6.

    Product sources

    Competitor values come from the manufacturer's own label or product page for one named flavour, with the date we read them. Where two official pages disagree, we keep them separate and say so. "Not verified" means we couldn't confirm the value from the sources we reviewed — not that the brand hides it.

    Outcomes are not interchangeable

    We file every study under what it actually measured: what's in the powder; amino acids in blood; muscle protein synthesis over hours; whole-body protein balance; strength, recovery and function; muscle over weeks or months; or a clinical setting. A result in one never stands in for another.

    What we will not say

    Until RDA100 has its own evidence, we will not claim: more muscle than whey or plant protein; "99% absorbed" or "zero waste"; a whey-replacement ratio; freedom from side effects, bloating or kidney effects; that plant protein can't build muscle; that protein above 30 g is wasted; "clinically proven"; or "lab verified" without a published report.
