How RDA100 compares

Same 10 g of essential amino acids. How much powder?

Each circle is one RDA100 serving (11.58 g). Competitors: EAA total and serving size printed on each manufacturer's label for one named flavour, read 26 Sep 2026 (serving × 10 ÷ EAA per serving). Products without a verified EAA total are left out. RDA100: formula target. Powder mass, not grams of protein, and not a muscle-growth claim.

The honest scoreboard

Where RDA100 wins. Where whey wins. What nobody knows yet.

A comparison you can't trust is just an advert. So here is the whole board.

RDA100 wins

  • Powder per 10 g of EAAs11.58 g vs 26.5–42.2 g for the whey and plant proteins we checked — under half.
  • Price per 10 g of EAAs₹38.6 vs ₹75–₹155 for the other products we checked, at listed prices.
  • More of the six non-BCAA essentials4.8 g per serving vs 1.7 g in the other EAA powder we checked (MB EAA 8000).
  • Leucine per gram of powder3 g in an 11.58 g serving — the most per gram among products with a verified leucine figure.
  • No dairy, no milkshakeA lemon drink with no dairy ingredients in the formula; whey is milk-derived.

Whey wins

  • Total protein per serving19–28 g of intact protein per whey scoop, including non-essential amino acids, vs RDA100's 10 g of EAAs.
  • Long-term track recordDecades of training trials (S19). RDA100 itself has none yet.
  • One matched test went whey's way15 g whey beat its own EAA fraction in older adults (S16).
  • Longer post-workout response at full dose25 g whey outlasted an enriched small dose (S17).

Unknown yet

  • More muscle than whey over months?Nobody has tested RDA100 against whey. We'll publish the trial design — and the result, either way.
  • Easier on the stomach?Plausible for dairy-sensitive people; untested for RDA100.
  • Calories per 10 g of EAAsWaiting on the final RDA100 nutrition panel.
What the studies found

Small doses. Surprising results.

None of these studies tested RDA100 — they tested other EAA formulas. That is why every number carries its population, dose and time frame.

The questions people actually ask

All answers →
Is RDA100 better than whey?
Better at some things, not all.
RDA100 delivers 10 g of all nine essential amino acids, including 3 g of leucine, in under half the powder of any whey or plant protein we checked — and at about half the price per 10 g of EAAs of the next cheapest product. It has no dairy ingredients and it's a lemon drink, not a shake. Whey gives you more total protein per scoop and has decades of long-term training evidence. No one has yet run a head-to-head muscle trial of RDA100 against whey, so we don't claim an overall winner. See the full scoreboard.
How do I take it?
One 11.58 g scoop in a glass of water.
One scoop gives you 10 g of essential amino acids. Follow the daily usage printed on the pack, and keep eating protein from food — RDA100 is a supplement, not a meal replacement. A 300 g pack holds about 25 scoops.
Can 10 g of RDA100 replace 25 or 40 g of protein?
There is no universal swap ratio.
Some short-term studies in older adults found small leucine-enriched EAA doses kept pace with much larger whey doses (S03, S04). Another found whey beat its own matched EAA fraction (S16). Hours of muscle protein synthesis are not months of nutrition, so keep eating enough protein from food.
Is the "30 g of protein at a time" limit real?
No — and we won't use it against whey.
A 2023 study found 100 g of protein after exercise produced a larger and longer anabolic response than 25 g (S22). Our case for RDA100 is compactness, composition and price — not a fake ceiling on whey.
Free amino acids get into the blood faster — doesn't that mean more muscle?
Not automatically.
In one trial, 76% of ingested phenylalanine appeared in blood from free amino acids versus 59% from milk protein, yet muscle protein synthesis was not significantly different (S02). Absorption, blood levels, muscle synthesis and long-term growth are separate questions.
Why all nine EAAs instead of just BCAAs or leucine?
Leucine is the signal; the other eight are the building material.
BCAAs cover 3 of the 9 essential amino acids. They do raise short-term muscle protein synthesis (S21), but leucine alone for three months did nothing for muscle mass or strength in older men (S20). RDA100 supplies all nine. That is a composition difference; it isn't, by itself, proof of more growth.

1. RDA100: formula target of 10 g EAAs per 11.58 g serving (finished-product lab report pending); ₹999 for 300 g. Competitors: the EAA total, serving size and listed selling price on each manufacturer's own label or product page for one named flavour, read on 26 Sep 2026 — for example MuscleBlaze Biozyme Performance Whey, Rich Chocolate: 36 × 10 ÷ 11.75 = 30.6 g of powder. Powder range covers the 7 whey and plant proteins with a verified EAA total; cost range covers the 8 products with a verified EAA total, pack size and price. Prices change, so every figure is dated; see Compare and Science for each source. These compare powder mass and price for the same amount of EAAs — not muscle growth, absorption or overall nutrition.
